Refund Policy
Effective Date: 20/03/2026
Chargnex is committed to providing a fair and
transparent refund, return, and cancellation process. This policy applies to both hardware
products and EV charging solutions purchased through www.chargnex.com.
Section A – Hardware Products
1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds
- Return or refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.
Eligible if
- Product is defective, damaged, or not as described
- Product is unused and in original packaging (unless defective)
Not Eligible:
- Damage due to misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications
- Installation by third-party contractors not approved by Chargnex
- Used consumables or accessories
- Requests made after the return window
2. Return Process
- Email support-ca@chargnex.com with:
Order details
Invoice
Description of issue (photos/videos if applicable)
(photos/videos if applicable).
- Once approved, Chargnex Inc will:
Arrange pickup or
Provide return shipping instructions
- Returned products may be inspected before final approval
3. Refund Method & Timeline
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (credit/debit card or
payment provider)
- Processing time: 7–10 business days after approval
Notes:
- Shipping and installation charges are non-refundable, unless the issue is caused
by Chargnex
- Restocking fees may apply for non-defective returns (if permitted)
4. Order Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch or before installation begins
If cancelled:
- After dispatch but before delivery, Shipping charges may apply
- After installation:
Installation fees are non-refundable
De-installation (if requested) is charged to the customer
Section B – EV Charging Services
1. Refunds for Charging Sessions
Eligible:
- Charging did not start → Full refund if payment was deducted due to system
fault
- Charging interrupted due to charger fault → Proportional refund for unused
energy/time
- Session cancelled by Chargnex → Full refund
Example:
If a session ends early due to a system issue, only the unused portion is refunded
Not Eligible:
- Change of plans, late arrival, or no-show
- Minor interruptions that do not materially impact charging
Cancellations / Rescheduling
- Allowed up to 30 minutes before the scheduled session without penalty
- Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation or convenience fee
(shown during booking)
3. Refund Method & Timeline
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Standard processing time: 5–10 business days
- For partial refunds (interrupted sessions): 2–5 business days
Section C – General Terms
